Your Days Are Numbered As Imo Governor, Umeh Tells Okorocha.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives’ Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Victor Umeh has declared that the party will reclaim Imo state from Governor Rochas Okorocha come 2015 elections, dismissing claims by the former APGA governor, that the party is dead in the state. Speaking in Abuja, during the inauguration of the caretaker committee of the party in Imo state, Mr Umeh said Governor Okorocha's days as Imo governor are numbered.
The APGA Chairman while condemning the recent abortion law in Imo state recalls that it was on the ticket of the party that Governor Okorocha won his first election as a politician. Governor Okorocha, was elected on APGA platform in 2011, but dumped the party for the newly registered merger party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). Among the reasons the governor gave for dumping APGA, while addressing a congregation of Igbo indigenes when he travelled to the United States recently, was that the party does not have the wherewithal to fulfil the Ndigbo dream politically. The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance also announced plans by the party to institute a legal action challenging the defection of Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state from the party to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
