Youths rampage over the death of their colleague

Rampaging youths in Kajola, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, went on the streets on Sunday protesting and  burning a truck which crushed one of their colleagues simply identified as Mikel.
The youths later obstructed the four lanes and prevented vehicular movements. Eye witnesses said that the deceased had gone to ease himself in the bush after which he wanted to cross the road but was hit by  the truck and gave up the ghost instantly. "He was an agile person, a footballer who was preparing to travel out of the country to play professional football before his sudden demise." The  deceased was nick-named Mikel because he was excellent in the midfield and fond of wearing the number 12 shirt like Mikel Obi. The Police spokesperson has confirmed the incident and he said that it is being investigated.

The statement issued on behalf of the minister by her Special Assistant, Media, Joe Obi, reads in part, “The presentation of false information or forged documentation to regulatory authorities in the processing of official approvals or permits is clearly a serious violation of the Civil Aviation Act, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations and other extant criminal laws in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
