World's most expensive restaurants.

 Ithaa Maldives.
Five meters below sea level against the beautiful sea life of the Indian Ocean off the Maldives, Ithaa is a clear dome that seats 14 people amid the beautiful coral, fish, plants, stingrays and sharks. It cost around $5 million to build and they have to pay for that investment, so the food is ridiculously expensive. Just for starters, the 23-course tasting menu is $300. The food is mostly western with a little Maldivian influence.

 Solo Per Due, Umbria, Italy
Italian food is far from limited to pizza and pasta. Inland you'll find meats, cheeses and fish and that's exactly what's served here  the smallest restaurant in the world. Solo Per Due means “Just for two,” so there's only one table and one couple is served at a time. The building dates back to the 19th century and each meal and menu is customized to the particular couple attending. The details of the meal are approved by the guests in advance, but each meal costs €250 (approx. $300) per person.
