SIR EMEKA OFFOR COMMISSIONS ORAIFITE MULTI PURPOSE HALL IN LAGOS

 No 5 Nwolisa street opposite CCEEC Construction Company, Okota Road Amuwo Odofin was engulfed with pomp and pageantry as one of Oraifite's Illustrious sons, Sir Emeka Offor KSC commissoned the state of the art Oraifite multi-purpose hall.

The chairman of the great occassion was Sir Emma Bishop Okonkwo ( President of Ekulo group of companies) other dignitaries present were  Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and his wife, Chief Eugene Ojukwu MON MD/CEO Ekeson transport and the list keeps going on and on.

A lot of people were suprised to see the  Labour party gubernatorial aspirant in the recently concluded Anambra state elections, in the company of Sir Emeka Offor as it is well known that the two have been at logger heads for a while. But today the two were so excited to be in the company of each other. Emeka Offor also pointed out in his opening speech that he had earlier warned Ifeanyi Ubah about the people he mingled with during his electoral campaign race, which he eventually lost out of after he invested huge sums of money and at the end of the day he could only gather a minute fraction of the total votes in the election. Emeka Offor thanked God that Ifeanyi had finally realised his mistakes and pledged to support him any day anytime. In his words " You have gone for your first missionary journey, there would never be another"

The Chairman of the Occassion Sir Emma Bishop Okonkwo  set the ball rolling by donating the sum of 5 million naira for the Oraifite Improvement Union, Sir Emeka Offor followed with the sum of 10 million naira, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah doled out the cash sum of 10,000 US dollars, Chief Eugene Ojukwu MON MD/CEO Ekeson transport donated the sum of 1 million naira and the naira showers continued.

It was a colourful event and it is my prayer that the funds generated today would contribute immensely to the growth of Oraifite town.
