President Jonathan hosts former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Yayi of Benin republic


Former president Olusegun Obasanjo was at the Aso Rock Villa today in a surprise visit barely 24 hours after the Peoples Democratic Party split into two shortly after the party's special convention in Abuja. The former leader attended a church service in company of President Boni Yayi of Benin republic. Presidency sources did not disclose the reason Obasanjo visited today, especially because he was conspicously absent from the party's convention yesterday, but it was obvious that President Goodluck Jonathan might have sent for the former board of trustees chairman of the PDP with the aim to resolving the current crising rocking the party. On another note, Mr. Obasanjo is also interested in keeping his former domestic aide, Andy Uba, as the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Anambra state as a condition for ending the current political feud with Mr. Jonathan. After, the church service and a lunch date with President Jonathan, Mr. Obasanjo left the villa while President Jonathan and President Yayi went into a session to engage in bilateral talks.

300 Level Law Student of Unilag Shot!

                                                                         Mr Ola Fowowe a 300 level Law student in the University of Lagos was shot on Friday the 12th of April around the Abule-Oja axis of Akoka. According to him at about 10:17 pm he saw a crowd of people running like mad men chasing nothing only to discover that it was the Police men conducting a raid. In a twinkle of an eye a Police man held him and he tried to explain that he was a student on his way to his house close by.
