Minister of Aviation: Stella Oduah  The face-off over the registration or otherwise of a Bombadier aircraft owned by the Rivers State government took a twist on Thursday with the Federal Government threatening to prosecute Rivers for forgery. Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, said in a statement that the clearance documents used by the aircraft had been discovered to be forged, threatening that the state government would be prosecuted for the action which the minister said amounted to a violation of the nation’s aviation laws as well as other extant criminal laws of the land. 300 Level Law Student of Unilag Shot!

                                                                         Mr Ola Fowowe a 300 level Law student in the University of Lagos was shot on Friday the 12th of April around the Abule-Oja axis of Akoka. According to him at about 10:17 pm he saw a crowd of people running like mad men chasing nothing only to discover that it was the Police men conducting a raid. In a twinkle of an eye a Police man held him and he tried to explain that he was a student on his way to his house close by. The Policeman refused to listen and gave him a hot slap and another man from a group who were not dressed in Police uniform struck him with a cutlass and ordered him to lie down.
