Justice Rhodes-Vivour's wife, daughter's whereabouts still unknown as CJN, Justices visits family

Over two weeks after the suspected abduction of wife, daughter and driver of Supreme Court justice, Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour in Edo State, their whereabouts had remained unknown.
The marriage ceremony of the daughter was originally scheduled for last weekend.
Though police reportedly used Information Technology devices to trace the suspected kidnappers to Ekiti and Ondo states axis, the family remained in the dark of the fate of the abductees.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar, led some justices of the apex court to the Lagos home of the Vivour on Friday in solidarity with their brother justice.
The private visit was for a few hours.
The CJN and her team returned to Abuja same day.
The Chief Registrar of the apex court, Sunday Olorundahunsi, was also at the home of the Viviours last week to show solidarity and brief the jurist on the progress made by the police on the on-going investigation to track the alleged abductors and their victims.
A source in the apex court expressed concern  that the prolonged hold of the suspected abductors on the victims was beginning to change thinking about the motive of those keeping the justice’s family members.
Saturday Tribune gathered that another motive theory beyond ransom was now being explored by both the family and security forces.
The abductors initially demanded a N200 million ransom.
Police investigating the alleged crime from Edo State had reportedly moved into the axis to fish out the kidnappers.
Rotimi, the first son of the family, was also kidnapped last September.
