RE: 300 Level Law Student of the University of Lagos that was shot!



This is Mr Ola Fowowe who i featured two weeks ago. He was shot on the 12th of April by some vigilante men working with the police on his way home. This incident occurred  four houses away from his house. When i visited him yesterday he was looking far better than he was during my previous visit but the bullet is still lodged in his right arm and doctors are still waiting for the arm to heal further before conducting an extraction surgery.

Some members of the Police force visited him last week and claimed to have arrested a member of the OPC group that the Police were working with on that fateful day who shot him accidentally. The question then arises, since when did the Police start operating in conjunction with local vigilante groups? Throughout my stay with Ola yesterday he was really bitter about the risk of losing a semester.
This is a clarion call to Legal practitioners out there who would be able to take up this case and ensure that Ola is granted Justice.
