President Jonathan and Amaechi clash again!





                           The gulf between President Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State widened further over the weekend as the Presidency and the Rivers State Government locked horns yet again.
This time, the Presidency was reacting to a recent claim by Amaechi that Jonathan was after him.
The Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, who spoke to one of Punch Newspaper's correspondents during a telephone interview implied that Amaechi had an agenda.
The relationship between the President and the governor has deteriorated in recent times with several reports saying the feud is all about 2015 politics.
There are speculations that a bloc within the Peoples Democratic Party, which is opposed to Jonathan, wants Amaechi to be the vice-presidential aspirant of a duo that will challenge Jonathan in the party’s future presidential primaries.

Minister of Aviation: Stella Oduah  The face-off over the registration or otherwise of a Bombadier aircraft owned by the Rivers State government took a twist on Thursday with the Federal Government threatening to prosecute Rivers for forgery. 300 Level Law Student of Unilag Shot!

                                                                         Mr Ola Fowowe a 300 level Law student in the University of Lagos was shot on Friday the 12th of April around the Abule-Oja axis of Akoka. According to him at about 10:17 pm he saw a crowd of people running like mad men chasing nothing only to discover that it was the Police men conducting a raid. In a twinkle of an eye a Police man held him and he tried to explain that he was a student on his way to his house close by. The Policeman refused to listen and gave him a hot slap and another man from a group who were not dressed in Police uniform struck him with a cutlass and ordered him to lie down. He refused and he was marched towards some other people where they forcefully made him to lie down. Before he could say Jack Robinson he heard a deafening sound  very close to his ear only to discover that he had been shot on the right shoulder and blood started gushing profusely.
