Senator Ali Ndume’s convoy bombed by fighter jet

Senator Ali Ndume’s convoy was bombed on Saturday by a fighter jet of Nigeria’s military , the senator said today. Ndume was on his way to the scene of an attack by suspected Boko Haram militants when his convoy was bombed by the jet. Miraculously, no one was hurt. Ndume said Saturday’s bombing underscored “the seriousness of how the military endangers innocent civilians.”

South Africa-based armed robber killed in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has killed a South Africa-based suspected armed robber and also arrested his elder brother, who is a pastor. According to the police, the suspect, simply identified as Confidence, used to rob in Nigeria and relocate to South Africa, where he was actually based. The police allegedly shot and killed Confidence after he took to his heels at the sight of police rather than surrender.

Justice can be defined as “Fairness in the way people are treated”. Jungle justice simply put can be defined as a form of extra judicial killing where the victim is deprived the rule of law and justice is meted out in a barbaric and appalling fashion usually through stoning or burning the individual in the full glare of the public. In simpler words Jungle Justice is synonymous with Injustice which is defined as “a situation in which people are treated very unfairly and not given their rights”.

Fresh reports have emerged that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, sentenced his uncle to be eaten alive by a pack of 120 wild dogs in a savage punishment for treachery.Jang Song-Thaek, 67, along with five close aides, were stripped naked and thrown into a cage of hounds which had been starved for three days, according to new details emerging from China.

Hon. Lloyd arrested for killing policeman, politician

Hon. Chidi Lloyd, has been arrested by the police not for using the mace to knock out his political opponent in the Rivers Assembly fracas video that went viral but this time, Lloyd’s offence was that he killed a political rival, Kingsley Ejeuo, and a policeman, Sergeant Urang Obediah. The Police Public Relations Officer, Rivers State Police Command, Ahmad Mohammad, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

  The Nigeria Football Federation has secured the services of Guinean referees to be in charge of Saturday’s potentially-explosive international friendly match between Nigeria and Ethiopia’s senior home-based squad at the National Stadium, Abuja. The centre referee will be Yakhouba Keita, a 38-year old official who has been an international referee since 2004.

AC Milan Attacker loaned to Brescia, Nnamdi Oduamadi alongside with his group of highly gifted foreign players were held to a 3-3 draw by Flying sport Academy. John Ogu of Primeira Liga side Académica de Coimbra, Joel Obi of Parma , Kingsley Umunegbu of Bologna Italy alogside other foreign based players were all present on the Oduamadi led foreign based squad. It was an exciting game as the home based players controlled the game in the first half but however things changed in the second half which finally led to the 3-3 final score.
